1st Weekend Early Sign-Up Weekend

Sign-Up Required Forms

What to bring:

  • Birth Certificate (if not already on file from previous years)

  • 3 Proofs of Residency (NOTE: Only one item from each category can be accepted.)

    According to Little League we need three or more documents of the following categories to determine residency of parents or guardians. Dated on or before February 1st of the current year.

    1. Driver’s License

    2. Voter’s Registration

    3. School records

    4. Welfare/child care records

    5. Federal records

    6. State records

    7. Local (municipal) records

    8. Support payment records

    9. Homeowner or tenant records

    10. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal)

    11. Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records

    12. Insurance documents

    13. Medical records

    14. Military records

    15. Internet, cable or satellite records

    16. Vehicle records

    17. Employment records

    NOTE: Only one item from each category can be accepted.

    Example: Three utility bills (three items from No. 10 above) constitute only ONE document.

Age Requirements

Please review the Little League age requirements here, if you have any questions about what division your children will be able to play in.

Reminder that all children with a Little League age of 5 will play T-Ball.

Senior Baseball Sign-Ups

All junior/senior aged boys (13-16 years old) 2017 price is still TBD.

Cost:

Who: 4-16 year old

  • $100 first child

  • $50 for 2nd child,

  • $25 each for next three kids (3-5 children),

  • additional children after 5 start over at the $100

  • T-Ball Player $65

PLUS:

Concession Staffing Fee - $40/per family due at Registration

***fee is refunded if work 2 concession stand shifts, waived if Board Member, Coach or Manager - This fee covers the cost of staffing the Concession Stand. The Board voted to add a staffing fee this year to become more inline with what other Little League Parks in our area are doing, while not raising the registration prices. In addition, the last few years we have not gotten enough volunteers to fully staff our Concession Stand and board members, especially the Board President, have had to take on that role. The Concession Stand brings in a large part of our Yearly Operating Budget and needs to be open to serve guests and players while games are in progress. While this is an added fee to the registration costs upfront, it will be refunded when you (or your proxy: older child, spouse, etc) work two shifts. This fee is waived for Board Members, Coaches, & Managers. We each value our time as you value yours, and many hands make light work.

Late Registration Fee - $20/per family if signing up after last posted sign-ups

NOTE: you will receive 50 raffle tickets (25 for T-Ball) for the Opening Day Raffle when you register that you can sell to help offset the registration costs (you keep the money). Turn in the raffle ticket stubs on Opening Day, April 30th.

In the event that you cannot pay the entire registration costs, payment plans are available, as well as other arrangements. It is our hope that financial resources will not prevent any child from participating.

Forms:

If this is your first year playing at Southside, you will need to fill out the following forms. You can fill out paper hard copies when you sign up or enter the information directly onto the pdf form on your computer and print it out to bring with you. If you choose to fill out the forms at the park, please make sure you bring your child's insurance information, physician name and contact number.
